Social Studies 6th grade - World History

World History is a course where students learn about the different societies and civilizations around the world. Topics that are discussed include: early humans and societies, Mesopotamia, Egypt, Kush, civilization in India and China, foundations of western ideas, the Roman world, Islamic and African civilizations, empires of Asia and the Americas, renewal in Europe, the early modern world, the modern world.

Social Studies 7th grade– World Geography

World Geography is a course that allows students to focus on geography skills, map analysis and relationships between people and places. The course includes the areas such as: the Americas, Europe and Russia, Southwest and Central Asia, Africa, South and East Asia, and the Pacific.

Social Studies 8th grade – United States History

United States History is a course where students learn about the history of the United States. Topics that are discussed begin with our colonial heritage from the beginning of the United States up through the present day. United States History is broken down into the following areas: colonial heritage, a new nation, the new republic, the expanding nation, breaking apart of the nation, a growing America, beginning of modern America, prosperity/depression and war, postwar America, modern America.
